Opening of V-Locker Wallisellen – the largest automatic bicycle parking garage in Switzerland!

On Wednesday, 17 April, the city of Wallisellen, together with V-Locker, officially opened the latest bicycle parking facility. Cyclists and e-bike riders will thus be perfectly located at the underpass to the tracks and will have a safe and comfortable place to park 30 bicycles.

The network in the Zurich region is growing to four locations with Meilen, Stettbach and Kloten and is to be further expanded as quickly as possible.

The city of Wallisellen has recognised that there is potential for improvement in the cycling infrastructure and has initiated various measures, including the construction of the V-Locker facility, to promote sustainable mobility in the city. It is thus a role model for other municipalities and cities to promote innovation and novel concepts.
