Study on Improving Bicycle Parking Systems: University of Wuppertal Invites to Participate
At V-Locker, we place great importance on making our bicycle parking facilities as efficient and user-friendly as possible for our users. Therefore, we are supporting the independent research project of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (University of Wuppertal) on the “Verkehrstechnische Bemessung von Fahrradparksystemen im Vergleich zu Pkw-Parkbauten” (Traffic Engineering Assessment of Bicycle Parking Systems Compared to Car Parking Structures). The project is being conducted on behalf of the Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (Federal Highway Research Institute) and aims to gain key insights for improving existing bicycle parking systems.
As part of the research project, not only will the traffic flow during the use of our automated bicycle parking systems be analyzed, but important data will also be collected through a user survey. This data aims to evaluate the bicycle parking systems from the perspective of the users and provide valuable insights for further developing bicycle parking facilities.
Collecting practical experience is essential for the development of the industry. Your feedback helps to gain valuable insights for the entire industry and to further develop bicycle parking systems.
